His full-name is Elfonda Mekel, this handsome guy born on 21 Mays 1970, he usually is called ONCE. This graduate of University of Indonesia at the Faculty Of Law starts music career when he invited by his brother to follow festival inter-high school in Jakarta performed by Cockpit Enterprise. Besides singing, Once also enough mastering various among other castanets: piano, drum and guitar. This vocalist of DEWA band-group have ever joined forces with some bands : Brawijaya and Dimensi. This bands mostly bringing others song ( covers version).

Has just then, at band Java Burns, which then turns into Bottoms Up ( band group genesis Getah) Once brings song - masterpiece song his self. Around start year 1990, Once at the first time record as vocalist in an compilation album of pop song. In the same year of he releases mini of album having coronet " A Thousand Day-dreams" with Pay ( BIP), Ronald ( ex Gigi) and Andi Liani ( late).

In the year 1993 up to 1997 Once disappears from Indonesia music world, caused trouble at his own sound track, this causes he cannot sing at the range of time. Time sufficiently long that is finished it to finalize his Study, then he worked a finite construction company and research institute of the year 1998. But because his desire to plays music which so big in his self and after his own sound track returns to recovering, Once sets mind on returning to the world of music. He very lucky because in that year too, Once has chosen as vocalist DEWA in the year 1999.
