LAST TIMES had been announced that bandgroup DEWA will perform concert in 6 town in Indonesia, among others is Yogyakarta, Malang, Denpasar, Surabaya, Cirebon and Semarang. According to schedule, the concert performance. started by 25 Februari until 21 Marchs 2001 coming. Simply the concert is canceled.

It is said reason of cancellation of concert is due to unstable factor of security and safety. Particularly, the concert performance. he said will be recorded in a VCD and cassette. So thereby making of DEWA 19 multiple Album perforced to be delayed.

According To Management Office Proxy of DEWA, Cahyadi Juniarso, the cancellation comes from the side of promotor themself, namely MSM Production, what floated a few weeks before concert. " We cannot do something, except feeling regret," said Cahyadi.

It is really regrettably, because according to the plan, concert in the six towns also will be exploited for making of VCD as according to request of the devotees to make VCD live.

The Reason Is VCD will be given title “MAHA GURU” following two cassettes. " according to the plan, the album contains 30 songs. And, altogether is taken away from concert live," explains Cahyadi.

Though event of commemoration of the 13^th anniversary of Dewa 19 is just performed at 11.00pm, but one hours before all, the visitors has raced along to the hotspot which located in Jl. MH. Thamrin, Central Jakarta.

Yuke Brief History
Yuke Sampurna which is more knowledgeable by the nickname for Yuke, borns in Bandung on 19 Junes 1968, he is youngest child out of ten having you result of nuptials between R.T.M Soebrata with Mrs. Suliningsih. Before taking a fancy to castanets Bass Yuke beforehand plays drum castanets (3rd class SMP NEGERI 7 Bandung). After admission SMA starts tries plays castanets with four strings that is Bass. Talent plays at the music obtained from both old fellows that is also skilled plays assorted of castanets like Guitar, violin and organ. And itself talent supported by ninth of people his brothers which also has talent and interest is in music.

Since Childhood Yuke lived in Bandung and has a real friend many, from SMP up to SMA. refraction of obsolescence at the time in SMP be liking having anthem because his hard character but easy to interact that is one of his individuality. In SMA, Yuke have time to follow group vowel extra curricular to reach college and starts play together interscholastic band as player Bass.

After failing to pass Diploma III (D3) Japan Art UNPAD (University of Padjadjaran) and D3 Tours & Travel STIEPAR, Yuke starts seriously to walk career in music line. Hereinafter he meets with Deta, Reza & Rika, they then forms a Band which so called "Odissey" which often cafes admission exit in Bandung brings songs disco 1980. After run 5 year, " Odissey" unloads personnel tide and around year of 1997 change names becomes " The Groove". In The year 1999 Yuke with his Band releasing first their album. Yuke is one of drive-making this band pierces Indonesia music arena with his own color.

When Yuke and his Band is often comes up in cafes, he meets with a girl is being looks on action the bandstand, the girl so called latter Namara Surtikanti complete more chummy in calling Kikan "COKELAT". After passing the engaged-process during approximately 2 year, Yuke ensures that Kikan is his soul-mate on 02 months February the year 2002. On 21 Januaries the 2003, the couples are bestowed by a daughter which in giving name of Shira Sampurna and on 27 Aprils 2004 increasingly even part they by bearing it second son which in giving name of Kei Sampurna.

At in the middle of the 2000, in one of cafe in Jakarta Yuke meets with Once & Tyo, they offer to assist DEWA TOUR in 36 towns as additional player and Yuke at that time still stiring with his Band. In the year 2002 Yuke returns to meeting with manager DEWA in one of shopping center in Jakarta and back gets secondary offering to assist Mistikus Tour as additional player. Yuke must take decision that is hardly difficult, after pass mature-thinking process, hence Yuke accepts the bargain. Finally, he is formally becoming one of the permanent personnel of DEWA as bassist.

Tyo Brief History

His full-name is Setyo Nugroho or usually is called Tyo Nugros. Tyo is borne in Jakarta, 21 Decembers 1970. Tyo which learnt in Percussions Institute of Technology ( PIT) Musicians Institute ( MI), Hollywood - American, have ever met with many people, for example Joe Porcaro (father of TOTO drummer, Jeff Porcaro, late.). From there he learnt all about the technical drummed, it is how to hold stick and he also gets lesson of all music types, jazz, metal, and others.

From so much people, Tyo assumes Matt Laug ( drummer which cooperated with Alanis Morissette and The Corrs) as one who very stands in forming his self as drummer. Now, blow taught by Laug that is which many applied Tyo to till the music of Dewa 19. Tyo also have ever been merged into group of Getah ( Underground Gothic),Sic Mynded ( Underground Gothic), Fariz RM Trio ( Pop Creative), Haris Ioni Band ( Funky Rock) and Ahmad Band ( Alternative Rock). Once Brief History

His full-name is Elfonda Mekel, this handsome guy born on 21 Mays 1970, he usually is called ONCE. This graduate of University of Indonesia at the Faculty Of Law starts music career when he invited by his brother to follow festival inter-high school in Jakarta performed by Cockpit Enterprise. Besides singing, Once also enough mastering various among other castanets: piano, drum and guitar. This vocalist of DEWA band-group have ever joined forces with some bands : Brawijaya and Dimensi. This bands mostly bringing others song ( covers version).

Has just then, at band Java Burns, which then turns into Bottoms Up ( band group genesis Getah) Once brings song - masterpiece song his self. Around start year 1990, Once at the first time record as vocalist in an compilation album of pop song. In the same year of he releases mini of album having coronet " A Thousand Day-dreams" with Pay ( BIP), Ronald ( ex Gigi) and Andi Liani ( late).

In the year 1993 up to 1997 Once disappears from Indonesia music world, caused trouble at his own sound track, this causes he cannot sing at the range of time. Time sufficiently long that is finished it to finalize his Study, then he worked a finite construction company and research institute of the year 1998. But because his desire to plays music which so big in his self and after his own sound track returns to recovering, Once sets mind on returning to the world of music. He very lucky because in that year too, Once has chosen as vocalist DEWA in the year 1999.

Andra Brief History
Andra Junaidi Ramadhan borne from a mother so called SM. Fadilah, while his father so called A. Ramadhan. This guitarist of DEWA borns on 17 Junes 1972 in Surabaya as youngest child. He is a sixth son of couple A. Ramadhan and SM. Fadilah.

Andra confess coming late recognizes music. First time he feels hardly interesting with activity is having music was when he is school in SMP through extracurriculer program where at that time he chooses music program. In the former fume he have ever dreamed to be a famous drummer, but because cost to buy Drum very expensive of he brackets the intention, and after seeing friends are besotted plucks guitar, and his hobby is also changes. Having capital loan guitar, he starts guitar learning, and he haves a bent for reliable guitar player, hence his ability and game technique grows very fast.

Problem then emerges at his life, that is when he must choose between his careers as musician or continues to study in majors Interior Design. With matured consideration, finally Andra chooses for always walks career in music world. This choice gets challenge from his parents which disagree if their son e must discharge his study in college. Their intention are good, that is they hope Andra can reach for college degree like fifth of his brother. But permanent Andra of persevere chooses line is having career in music. Fortunately, both of his parents will understand and of course proven choice Andra precise. After leaving his study in college, Andra concentrate on enlarge name of Dewa 19, this proved more and morely the increasing of his creativity power. The Contribution of Andra to compose songs of Dewa 19 cannot be denied.

In the year 1999 Andra married with Ismulia Permatasari, they is bestowed by a daughter so called Yasmeen Fadilah and a boy who called East Zavier. Andra and his wife are very happy, they really feel blessed by the infinite.

Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo (call for his intimate name Dhani Manaf or Ahmad Dhani) borns in Jakarta, on 26 Mays 1972, first child out of three having you.
